Invite the bot to your server
You need Manage Server on the Discord server. Sentinel asks for exactly four permissions:
- Manage Channels
- Manage Webhooks
- View Channels
- Send Messages

Link it to this workspace
Generate a one-time code, then run the two commands in any channel the bot can see. /cortex setup creates a Cortex category with #staff-alerts, #appeals, #audit-log and #staff-chat — safe to run twice.

Install the plugins
Every game server signs its traffic with its own ctx_live_ key and buffers offline into an embedded H2 store, so nothing is lost if the link drops.

For the proxy layer. Paste the [server] and [backend] tables into plugins/cortex-velocity/config.toml.

Launch Staff Portal
Roles available in the portal: helper, moderator, developer, admin, owner. Turn on TOTP 2FA from your profile first thing.

Cortex Staff for iOS is on TestFlight and the Android build is coming. Face ID lock, TOTP 2FA, live alerts and one-tap ban, mute and kick. Point it at your workspace URL — it also works against a self-hosted Cortex.
